Don’t be so fucking simple, Anon.  It is rather embarrassing.  Whether or not you want to see it or not, I do not give a fuck.  I will give you lot this nevertheless.  The backlash of “beige” is rooted to the creation @thecolourbeige.  Obviously.  That is something we do not have to debate.  With that said, I have been seeing compliments about the race of the actors and entertainers being featured.  There has been a few people pissed off that it is white as fuck, but whatever on that aspect.  I do not care.

The Colour Beige is a heavy reflection on Hollywood/the media/the world’s fucking European beauty standard and white goddamn privilege that, my god, the most fucking untalented, average person is celebrated for no other reason than being boring.  CAN YOU NAME ONE BLACK YOUNG HOLLYWOOD STAR OR STARLET AS PRAISED AS EMMA WATSON, THAT ROBERTS CHICK, ETC EVEN THOUGH THEIR ACTING SKILLS ARE OFTEN CRITICIZED AT EVERY WAKING MOMENT, THOUGH THEIR “MODELING” IS JUST SO BLAH?  They just bleed uninspired at everything they do, but everyone just fawn themselves to goddamn sick over that because dude they just embodies “the pretty white person aesthetic”. AND FUCK THAT IS WHY PEOPLE HATE SO MUCH ON THE COLOUR BEIGE.  It calls this shit out.

People are upset that their beloved beige actors are being criticized for being untalented.  Yes, I am aware that some write ups are misogynist as fuck, and not everyone views the blog as I do.  But, really, the only reason why people noticed blog enough to get angry is because submitters hated on their favorite white celebrities.  JUST FUCKING COMPARE THE GODDAMN NOTES THE WHITE CELEBS WRITE UPS GET OVER THE POCS.  That alone should show you TCB would not have the “notoriety” it has now if it stuck to racial minorities.  If TCB stuck to POCs, it would have stayed a little joke between friends.  No one ever feels the need to defend Cassie’s ~honor, but they sure need to for Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, etc.
